Terms of Service — DreamFamily

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any DreamFamily product (including DreamFond, DreamFund, DreamFind, and accounts.dreamfamily.cloud), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

DreamFamily provides a suite of interconnected applications:
- DreamFond: A cooking and meal-planning platform with an integrated AI cooking assistant (Gusto).
- DreamFund: A budgeting and financial-planning application with bank-account connectivity.
- DreamFind: A static informational website.
- accounts.dreamfamily.cloud: A unified identity and single sign-on (SSO) service that provides one account across all DreamFamily products via OpenID Connect.

3. User Accounts and Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all uses of your account, whether or not you have authorized them.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DreamFamily services to:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame any person or entity.
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or disable services.
- Engage in unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
- Reproduce, distribute, or transmit any copyrighted content without authorization (except as permitted by fair use or these terms).
- Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property — User-Generated Content

You cannot revoke or demand removal of content once it has been shared with the community. Deletion of your account will not remove shared content from the DreamFond library or community features.

Content you keep private (unpublished drafts, personal notes, private lists) remains yours and subject to the data retention and deletion provisions in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-Powered Features

DreamFond includes Gusto, an AI cooking assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Gusto is an always-on core feature of the paid product and uses conversational data to generate personalized cooking advice and recommendations.

By using DreamFond, you consent to the use of your cooking-related conversations with Gusto as described in our Privacy Policy. See the Privacy Policy for details on how conversation data is processed and for your rights regarding AI-generated content.

7. Payment and Billing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. DreamFamily stores only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your raw payment card information. By subscribing to DreamFond, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method according to the subscription plan you select.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Subscription auto-renewal will continue until you cancel your subscription in your account settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAMFAMILY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF DREAMFAMILY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DREAMFAMILY IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DreamFamily and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the services, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Disclaimers

DREAMFAMILY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DREAMFAMILY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of DreamFamily after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to DreamFamily at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, in our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

DreamFamily is currently operated as an unincorporated project and is not yet organized under the laws of any specific state or country. Until a formal operating entity is established, these Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This section will be updated to name a specific state of organization once DreamFamily's operator formally incorporates.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of DreamFamily shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between you and DreamFamily. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or litigation as permitted by applicable law.
